PTFor home loans in Portugal only — offers from Portuguese banks, under Portuguese taxes and fees. The banks’ documents will still be in Portuguese; this page explains them in English.
qualcredito.com was built not to need your data. There are no accounts, no database, and no comparison is stored on a server. This page says, specifically, what happens to what you bring here.
- The FINE you upload
- The PDFs are read in your browser, on your computer. The file and the figures read from it stay in the open tab and are gone when you close it.
- There is one exception, and the page says when it applies: if assisted reading is switched on and the browser cannot read a PDF (a scan, say), that PDF is sent to Claude, by Anthropic, only to be read, and the figures read come back to the browser. This site stores neither the PDF nor the answer. Anthropic handles it as a service provider: it does not use it to train models, and keeps it only for the limited time its terms allow for security and abuse prevention. When assisted reading is off, no PDF leaves the browser.
- A FINE carries personal data — names, dates of birth, the loan amount — sometimes of more than one person. Only upload documents that concern you or that you are allowed to use.
- What stays in your browser
- If you save a scenario (up to three), it is kept in your browser’s local storage, on your computer, so you find it on your next visit. Offers are never saved. If you pick a language with the switch, a «lang» cookie is kept for a year, only to respect that choice. You can delete both in your browser settings.
- Audience measurement
- The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count visits: which pages are opened, the referring link, the country, the browser and the kind of device. It sets no cookies for this and does not identify visitors. The host (Vercel) logs, like any server, the requests it receives in order to serve and protect the site.
- Legal basis, recipients and retention
- Assisted reading of a PDF happens because you asked for it, to give you what you asked for. Audience measurement and server logs rest on the legitimate interest in keeping the site running, secure, and knowing which pages are useful — without identifying anyone.
- The only third parties that handle data are Vercel (hosting and audience measurement) and Anthropic (assisted reading only), both based in the United States. Transfers outside the European Economic Area rely on the safeguards the GDPR provides for, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.
- Server logs are deleted by Vercel after a few days; audience counts are aggregated and cannot be traced back to a person. What stays in your browser stays until you delete it.
- Controller and your rights
- The site is run by Cláudia Ribeiro. Since there are no accounts and nothing is stored on the server side, there is no profile of you to look up or delete; for any privacy question, use the contact page. You also have the right to complain to the CNPD, the Portuguese data protection authority.
- This page may change when the site does; the version in force is always the one here. Last updated: 1 October 2026.
